Abstract:
The apical seals of 75 extracted teeth that were treated with three methods of endodontic implant stabilizers were compared with the seals of 25 teeth filled with silver cones and 25 teeth filled with laterally condensed gutta-percha. Apical leakage was measured with the use of methylene blue dye solution. Statistical analysis showed that there were significant differences between the apical leakage obtained from the teeth treated with endodontic implant stabilizers and those teeth filled with silver cones and with laterally condensed gutta-percha.
