Summary

Functional transcranial Doppler ultrasonography (fTCD) and functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) show a linear relationship between cerebral blood flow velocity (CBFV) changes and regional cerebral blood flow (rCBF) during language tasks. Both methods reliably assess language laterality.
