Background:

Purpose of the Study:

  • To compare the incidence and severity of anterior capsule opacification (ACO) across different designs of rigid and foldable posterior chamber intraocular lenses (PC-IOLs).
  • To investigate the correlation between IOL material, haptic design, and the degree of ACO in post-mortem human eyes.
