[Disability in patients with pulmonary tuberculosis: prognosis of its onset]

Disability prediction can timely detect the signs of disability in the patient, greatly enhance the quality of sociomedical expert examination. A method for prediction of the onset of disability in patients with pulmonary tuberculosis has been developed on the basis of the correlation-regression analysis of the factors that influence disability. Verification of the efficiency of prediction of disability in control patients has provided evidence for the feasibility of using this method in the work of phthisiologists and experts of medical rehabilitative expert examination commissions.
