[The anatomico-surgical aspects of the lumbar sympathetic network]

Abstract:
Our article yields new statements about macroscopic anatomy of the sympathetic lumbar chain, after the dissection of 480 corpses in a 15 years period. Our observations state new conclusions, with implications in surgical practice, about the function and the vegetative territory of the lumbar sympathetic chain.
