Spontaneous Resolution of Pseudo-Narrowing After Coronary Artery Stenting
The Journal of Invasive Cardiology
|July 1, 1996
Abstract:
Pseudo-narrowings are due to straightening effect of the guidewire on a tortuous portion of the coronary artery. We described a case of its occurrence after deployment of intracoronary stents which persisted after withdrawal of the guidewire and balloon into the guiding catheter. Spontaneous resolution occurred within 4 weeks of the procedure.
