Surgical techniques involving omentoduodenoplasty and omentogastropasty were used in 69 patients undergoing gastric resection or ulcer excision to prevent peritonitis. A novel polychlorvinyl drain was employed in 18 patients, while 124 underwent Haberer gastric resection with specific anastomoses.
