[Modification of estimation the concentrations of serum TBA-active product]

Recent data on the mechanism of TBA test indicate that the routine method for measuring MDA concentration after I. D. Stalnaya and T. G. Garishvili is not informative. Analysis of this method and of the universal spectrophotometric method developed by V. B. Gavrilov et al. brought us to a conclusion that an amendment to the regression equation of the latter method will promote a more effective utilization of the routine technique in clinical practice.
