[Characteristics of epidemiology and pathomorphosis of tuberculosis at the present-day stage]

The article deals with data confirming changes in epidemiology of tuberculosis and its pathomorphism during the last years. A considerable decrease in the incidence rate among children, adolescents, young people is noted. Prevalence of tuberculosis and death rate have also dropped. Primary tuberculosis in children most often takes a form of minor bronchoadenitis, and in adults -- a form of a pulmonary process. As a result of natural and induced pathomorphism pulmonary tuberculosis in adults, particulary in old age, is accompanied by secondary nonspecific changes in various organs, which with years become more important in thanatogenesis.
