Abstract:
Difficulties in anxiety treatment is emphasized by benzodiazepine misuse. Pathological anxiety threshold can be understood in a dimensional perspective or by large in philosophical considerations. Therapeutic guidelines can be defined on the length of disease or by a categorical and nosological approach. Actually, this one appear more efficient. Therapeutic choice is under other conditions such as length of prescription, severity of the disorder, comorbidity and individual features of the patient. These difficulties in anxiety disorders chemotherapy lead to reconsider properly the place of psychotherapy.
