Summary

This study developed a mouse model for external ear canal (EAC) inflammation using tetradecanoylphorbol acetate (TPA). The model effectively tested anti-inflammatory drugs, showing significant reduction in EAC inflammation with a ciprofloxacin/hydrocortisone suspension.
