[Interventional medical thoracoscopy]

Interventional thoracoscopy is an important tool for diagnosis of pleural disease. We present a description of available material and thoracoscopic methods, discussing therapeutic informations for: pleural effusion, pneumothorax, sympathectomy, empyema. Instruction for each therapeutic situation are presented together with expected results.
