[Function of the eustachian tube in patients with cleft lip and/or palate]

Abstract:
This study examines eustachian tube function in 180 children with clefts of the palate or lip and palate. The results indicate that before palatoplasty dysfunction of eustachian tube is universal. Recovery of eustachian tube function depends on type of cleft palate.
