Abstract:
The olivil type of lignan, (2S,3R,4R)-4-benzyl-4-hydroxy - 3 - hydroxymethyl - 2 - (3,4 - methylenedioxyphenyl)tetrahydrofuran, was stereoselectively synthesized from D-xylose.
