Summary

A rare ossifying fibroma, a novel tumor in llamas, was diagnosed in a llama presenting with nasal obstruction and a facial mass. This case highlights the importance of considering unusual neoplastic conditions in camelids.

  • A mass protruding from the alveolus of a missing second molar was also noted during oral examination.

Findings:

  • Postmortem examination confirmed the presence of an ossifying fibroma, a tumor previously unreported in llamas.
