Background:

  • The primary distinction is the lack of laryngeal involvement in thoraco-pelvic dysostosis.

  • Alternatively, they could represent a contiguous gene syndrome.
  • Further research is needed to clarify the genetic basis and relationship between these rare skeletal dysplasias.
