Abstract:
To achieve an evidence-based clinical practice it is vital to be able to rapidly access valid, relevant and updated information. Systematic reviews, HTA-reports and health economic evaluations are most easily found in the Cochrane Library, available by subscription on the web. The continually updated "Clinical Evidence" covers many clinical fields. A search on Medline will mostly yield primary research but also systematic reviews. Search-engines such as SUMSearch and TRIP could be useful by scanning multiple databases relevant to evidence-based medicine.
