Nurses have established a vital presence in the pediatric cancer cooperative groups over the past 20 years through education, clinical practice, and collaborative research.
Implications For Nursing Practice:
With the unification of the pediatric cooperative groups into the single Children's Oncology Group, the time is uniquely right to build a program of nursing research allied with pediatric oncology cooperative group clinical trials.
