Summary

Genetic variations in the Tryptophan hydroxylase (TPH) gene, specifically the -6526A/G and 218A/C polymorphisms, do not appear to significantly impact suicide risk. This study found no association between these TPH gene variations and suicide susceptibility in Japanese individuals.
