[Ophthalmoplegia in dermatomyositis]

This case study reports a patient with myasthenic ophthalmoplegia preceding dermatomyositis by over six years. It suggests a potential shared underlying cause involving neuromuscular transmission disturbances and subsequent muscle fiber damage.
