Researchers discovered six new dihydrophenanthrene compounds, named sinensols A-F, from the Spiranthesis sinensis plant. Their chemical structures were identified using advanced mass spectrometry (MS) and two-dimensional nuclear magnetic resonance (2D NMR) spectroscopy.
