Abstract:
When women present at A&E with vaginal bleeding, it is possible that they are miscarrying, and very likely that they are distressed physically and psychologically. This paper outlines the development and auditing of a fast-track protocol for these women, in response to the author's being unable to help them in the A&E department as quickly as she would have wished.
