Abstract
Purpose:
To report a case of orbital xanthoma in a 9-month-old female.
Methods:
A 9-month-old female presented with a mass in the superior temporal left orbit since birth. Clinically, a dermoid cyst was suspected.
Results:
The orbital tumor was removed through an incision in the upper eyelid crease. Pathologic diagnosis was orbital xanthoma.
Conclusion:
Orbital xanthoma should be added to the differential diagnosis of orbital tumors in children.
