[Orbita teratoma in a new-born (author's transl)]
Abstract:
An orbital tumor of the size of an apple with a centrally placed optic vesicle was removed in a new-born baby girl 3 days after delivery. The histological examination revealed a mature teratoma with derivatives of all blastodermic layers. There has been no relapse up till now and the further growth of the girl has not been impaired.
