Abstract:
A cause of reoperations for differentiated thyroid carcinoma is often though to be errors made during the first operative intervention. Two groups of error are determined. Strategic errors consisted in inadequate choice of the operation volume. Technical errors are associated with defects in performing the main steps of the operation. The author analyzes the most frequent errors made during performing the operation for thyroid carcinoma.
