Reversible galactorrhea and prolactin elevation related to fluoxetine use

Selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors like fluoxetine may increase prolactin levels. Discontinuing fluoxetine resolved galactorrhea and normalized prolactin in a patient experiencing these antidepressant side effects.
