Summary
High-molecular-weight hyaluronan (HA) added to dialysis fluid reduces ultrafiltration loss during endotoxin-induced peritonitis in rats. HA also modulated inflammatory markers, potentially improving the peritoneal immune response and preventing membrane injury.
