Summary

A new high-flow personal sampler (HFPS) effectively collects fine particulate matter (PM2.5) using a lightweight foam filter. This validated sampler enables short-term personal exposure monitoring for urban commuters.

  • Characterization using a TSI aerodynamic particle sizer (APS) and validation against U.S. EPA Federal Reference PM2.5 WINS and KTL cyclone.
