Abstract
Objective:
To examine the five key stages which comprise the essential elements of acute stroke care using thrombolytics. This paper will discuss the stages of acute stroke triage in Calgary, Alberta at the Foothills Medical Centre, Five primary target goals are addressed in addition to discussion of how these goals were met in a medical teaching centre.
