This study shows that Concerta, a once-daily extended-release methylphenidate (MPH) formulation, is as effective as immediate-release MPH taken three times daily for treating attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Concerta provides 12-hour coverage, improving behavior and academic performance throughout the day.
