[Kinematics of metachronous walking. I. Configurations]

?The notion of configuration of legs' spatial distribution is presented. The relationships between the legs' spatial distribution and the features of meachronal activity in the ipsilateral legs row of some less than abstract greater than animal's locomatory system were investigated on the basis of theoretical analysis of different configurations. Some hypotheses about the control of legs' metachronal activity are proposed.
