Automated fluorometric determination of thiabendazole

An automated fluorometric method is presented for the determination of thiabendazole (2-(4'-thiazolyl)benzimidazole) in 0.1N HCl solutions. Test solutions of at least 1.1 ml starting volume are sampled and pumped successively at the rate of 60/hr into a fluorometer equipped with a simple flowcell. The minimum level of detection of the fungicide is about 0.05 mu-g/ml.
