[A model of development of the number of physicians in Slovakia]

The aim of this study was to work out a mathematical model of the anticipated development of the number of physicians in Slovakia during the period 2000-2025. The study is based on the current state of professionally active physicians employed by state and private health care organisations, their age structure, and the assumed number number of graduates of medical universities. This study is the first work trying to produce a model of this problem.
