[Thienyl acrylamides and thienyl pyrazolines as potential schistosomicidal agents]

Alpha-Thienyl-N-substituted acrylamides that possess analogous structures to known schistosomicidal agents were synthesized. Two chalcones were prepared by condensing alpha-thiophenealdehyde and acetophenone or its o-hydroxy derivative.
