A simple method to improve the precision and accuracy of gas-phase oxygen electrodes

The precision and accuracy of the measurements using an oxygen gas-phase electrode thermostabilized in an ice bath were evaluated. The precision found was comparable with that obtained with the paramagnetic method and with Scholander analysis. The accuracy was comparable with that of the paramagnetic method.
