Abstract:
Aggregation mechanism of erythrocytes under normal and microgravity conditions is analyzed from their recorded images. The video data is analyzed by PC/AT based image processing system. The results show that the shape of individual erythrocytes and their formed aggregates changes significantly which may affect the formation process of aggregates under microgravity conditions.
