Abstract:
Relationships between the degree of product fragmentation, area of occlusion surfaces, muscle efforts, maximum masticatory efforts, duration of chewing, volume of test product, volume of the oral cavity were studied by routine and original methods developed by the author for subjects with intact dentition and partial defects of dentition fitted with bridge and complete removable dentures. The detected relationships are significant both theoretically and practically.
