Abstract:
The total 176 cases of trichinellosis in the north of Poland in kujawsko-pomorskie district were registered. The source of infection was probably the meat of boar, not teased for trichinella spiralis. The presence of Trichnella endemic areas in the north-east part of the country still determines the necessity of careful meat survey against Trichinella spiralis.
