Method:
The action of turmeric volatile oil on sputum removing, cough and asthma relieving was observed by vapour inhaling.
Result:
The volatile oil is significantly active in removing sputum, relieving cough and preventing asthma.
Conclusion:
Turmeric volatile oil may be an efficacious drug for the treatment of respiratory diseases.
