Abstract:
Blepharoplasty I certainly one of the most demanding and commonly performed aesthetic procedures. In young individuals the main desire is to get rid of the baggy eyelids with make the person look tired. In older age group there is skin excess associated with the herniated fat as well as muscle festoons, which may descend below the orbital rim. The analysis of the results of lower blepharoplasty with and without fat removal in 175 patients shows the benefit of fat conservation technique for the final aesthetic result. Real increase in the volume of orbital far can be found in Graves disease and this is the sole indication.
