[Circular spine retractor: preliminary results]

Abstract:
In 1992 it was started the project for the construction of an interchanging blades retractor, that could be used for the microsurgery of both cervical and lumbar spine. It was initially presented on June 1994. I present my experience with the use of this spine circular retractor, the modifications made during the last years and the results obtained.
