[Modern aspects of surgical treatment of diabetic foot]

Result of treatment of 225 patients with diabetic angiopathy of lower extremities (LE) was studied. Efficacy of conservative treatment, supplemented, according to indications, by opening of purulent foci, registrated during 5 days, than we established indications for the LE amputation. Application of improved tactics of surgical treatment had permitted to preserve supportive function of foot in 63.6% patients.
