Abstract:
Throughout the world can be seen a strong development towards the requirement of both a dental and a medical degree for oral and maxillofacial surgeons. Such requirements call for a critical review of the various parts of the curriculum and the optimum educational continuity in the sequence dentistry--medicine--oral and maxillofacial surgery.
