Combining complementary therapies and nursing skills to supplement healing

The biomedical model's main focus is 'cure' which sometimes is not the most important outcome as far as clients are concerned. The need for other techniques to supplement and aid 'healing' rather than 'cure' can have positive outcomes for both the nurse as healer and the client.
