Abstract:
The authors describe relations between lamblia and the intestinal mucosa of the host and some rare ultrastructural characteristics of the parasites as revealed in a tissue specimen obtained by enterobiopsy. Lambliae were found in one clinically asymptomatic case, by using an electron microscope and optical microscope, in the intestinal lumen and intestinal mucosa.
