Abstract:
To realize the promise of telemedicine and telehealth, state and federal policymakers must examine how licensure laws should be adapted to address remote care. While many projects are confined to the boundaries of a single state, specialized telemedicine, telehealth and e-health programs are being developed and implemented that transcend state boundaries.
