Conclusions:

  • Lactose intolerance, characterized by symptoms, impedes the attainment of adequate peak bone mass.
  • This condition may increase the risk of developing severe osteoporosis later in life.
  • Managing lactose intolerance symptoms is crucial for maintaining bone health in young adults.
