Summary

Detecting alpha-Gal antigens in xenotransplantation is challenging with Griffonia simplicifolia 1 isolectin B4 (GS1 B4) alone. Combining GS1 B4 with Maclura pomifera agglutinin (MPA) improves accuracy for alpha-galactosylated antigen detection.
