Abstract:
The paper concerns the clinical evaluation of polyester knitted nets produced by Central Laboratory of Knitting Industry in Lódź used for reconstructive operations of abdominal and chest wall. The polyester knitted net was used in 29 children (newborns, infants and older children). Basing on the clinical observations and microscopic examinations there is discussed healing-in of the knitted fabric and complications observed during the postoperative course.
