Clear cell atypical fibroxanthoma (AFX) is a rare skin neoplasm in the elderly. Accurate diagnosis requires immunohistochemistry to differentiate it from other clear cell lesions.

  • Atypical fibroxanthoma (AFX) is typically a superficial variant of malignant fibrous histiocytoma on sun-exposed skin of the elderly.
